As part of the lecture series entitled "The European Union as a Global International Actor: External Perceptions", the University of Luxembourg will be examining the EU proposal on the Investment Court System from a Japanese Perspective on Monday 6 June 2016.
The lecture will be provided by Shotaro Hamamoto, Professor of the law of international organisations at Kyoto University, Japan and former representative of Japan at the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law and at the Investment Committee of the OECD. Professor Hamamoto will speak on the ongoing negotiations on free trade agreement between Japan and the European Union.
The talk will take place at 17:00 at the Weicker Building, room B001, 4 rue Alphonse Weicker, 2721, Luxembourg-Kirchberg.
