A new collective work agreement was signed between lux-Airport and the OGB-L and LCGB unions on Wednesday 28 October 2015, following nearly three years of negotiations.

Several years of discussions between the unions and the lux-Airport management culminated in the agreement, which will be effective as of 1 January 2016 and will be valid for a period of three years. An agreement was also reached for the transitional period of 2013-2015.

The agreement provides for:

- The payment of a bonus to all employees covering the period 2013-2015
- Guaranteed salary increases for the period 2016-2018
- A revision of the salary scale, particularly regarding output levels
- Planned additional compensation for unskilled personnel
- Increased flexibility in staff planning over a reference period of six months
- An increase in meal voucher value
- Flexible working hours for administrative staff

Lux-Airport has also committed to the hiring of 20 new security officers in order to reduce the use of staff under contract. These recruitments will be made in close cooperation with the Agence pour le développement de l'emploi (ADEM). The new agreement will is accompanied by a high level of social guarantees for all present and future staff.
