Luxair today announced the launch of its new travelblog.eu site, a platform offering information on culture, leisure, nightlife, restaurant and shopping recommendations at Luxair Luxemoburg Airlines destinations.

The travelblog, produced by publishing house Maison Modern in both English and French, is comprised of a collection of original contributions from on-site correspondents. The idea behind the blog was to create inspiration for travellers who will be able to view it on their computer, tablet or smartphone.

Each post consists of a photo, short presentation, location map, the address and a link to the place's website, covering cities such as Barcelona, Berlin, Copenhagen, Dublin, Geneva, Hamburg, Lisbon, London, Luxembourg, Madrid, Milan, Munich, Nice, Porto, Rome, Stockholm, Vienna and Venice.

Travelblog.eu has been developed from 400 sheets of recommendations contained in Luxair's in-flight magazine, Flydoscope, accumulated over the last two years. Luxair stated that the blog will be updated at a rate of 365 new posts per year, with the list of cities explored expected to evolve along with the company's map of destinations.

"Through this blog, and our many locally-based contributors, we will inspire you, guide you along your way and help you discover the best which Europe has to offer," Adrien Ney, President and CEO of LuxairGroup, is quoted as saying on travelblog.eu.
