The Kid Colling Cartel will present its highly anticipated debut album “In the Devil’s Court” at Den Atelier in Luxembourg-Hollerich on Saturday 14 January 2016 at 19:00.

Describing their style as “Modern Blues Rock”, the band plays mostly Kid Colling’s own compositions and ventures into different genres such as groove, funk and especially rock music – without denying their blues roots.

With their new album the Cartel clearly heads towards a new sound. More blues-rock oriented than the 2014 EP “Tomorrow’s far Away” and inspired by artists such as Gary Clark Jr, Tedeschi Trucks Band and The Allman Brothers Band, “In the Devil’s Court” oscillates between blues and rock and emphasises Colling’s qualities as a songwriter, composer and arranger. A blues phrasing, a rock guitar, a groovy rhythm section and a singing Hammond B3 organ all contributed to this album which marks the true career beginning of the Kid Colling Cartel.
