The national promotional agency Luxembourg for Tourism (LfT) will move into its new headquarters in Kirchberg on 27 June 2016.

Tourism promotion has had recently a revival with the launch of the Luxembourg for Tourism economic interest group will move into its new premises in Kirchberg, on the 2nd floor of 6 rue Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, the building of the Chamber of Commerce.

The successor to the National Tourism Office (ONT), Luxembourg for Tourism is a public-private partnership that is unprecedented in the tourism sector, involving both the Ministry of Economy - Directorate General of Tourism, Tourism Regional Offices, Luxembourg City and its tourism actor, Luxembourg City Tourist Office (LCTO) and the Chamber of Commerce, the hospitality and transport sectors.

LfT's main mission is to promote tourism in the Grand Duchy abroad. It develops strategies to attract more tourists to Luxembourg through the implementation of targeted marketing campaigns.

By integrating its headquarters in the building of the Chamber of Commerce, LfT is demonstrating its willingness to strengthen collaboration with key actors of a section of the Luxembourg economy and develop further as a major actor of tourism promotion abroad.

The tourism sector represents around 6.5% of GDP in Luxembourg, an important lever of growth in the country employing 19,500 people directly and indirectly.
