The Luxembourg City Film Festival is established as major event on the Luxembourgish cultural field for the past 5 years and comprises eleven days of festival; over 80 films (features and short films) by directors from Luxembourg and abroad, installations, transmedia projects, parties, conferences, and encounters are organised for the audiences.
 
The 2016 festival will take place from 25 February to 6 March 2016, with screenings and other events at the Cinémathèque de la Ville de Luxembourg, Ciné Utopia, Utopolis Kirchberg, Luxfilmfest headquarters and Cercle Cité « Espace de rencontres et d’expositions » as well as various partner spaces across the capital.

If you are a film enthusiast keen to discover life behind the scenes of a festival, join the organisers as a volunteer for the sixth Luxembourg City Film Festival.
 
What will volunteers do?
• Welcoming the public to the various festival sites, supervising school groups ;
• Theatre Operations : from ticket taking to crowd control, Theatre Operations is our BIGGEST NEED for volunteers ;
• Provide customer service and general Festival information to patrons at designated locations, distributing information ;
• Assist with daily operations, set up, and tear down of headquarters ;
• Assist in filling ticket orders, answering patrons' questions about films and theatres, and providing customer service ;
• Accompanying, welcoming and transporting festival guests ;
• Act as liaison and provide guest services for guests attending with a film (long hours)
