The Belgium-France-Luxembourg co-production "Le Tout Nouveau Testament" (The Brand New Testament) has received a nomination for the Golden Globes; the nominations were announced in Los Angeles, USA, on Thursday.

In Luxembourg, Juliette Films in Luxembourg was involved in the production, with David Grumbach co-producer.

The nominees for Best Foreign Film also include Mustang (France), the Son of Saul (Hungary), The Club (Chile) and The Fencer (Finland). The awards ceremony will take place on 10 January 2016.

The Golden Globe Awards have been held every year since 1944 by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA), a jury of 90 specialist journalists from 55 countries. They annually reward the best films of the year and are a fundamental step in the race for the Oscars. This nomination is a very encouraging sign for the film, also chosen as the Belgian candidate for the Oscar for best foreign film (in the long list of nominations).

The film is also in the running for the Satellite Awards.

Produced by Terra Incognita, Climax Films and Caviar in Belgium, After the Deluge Films in France, and Juliette Films in Luxembourg, The Brand New Testament received (financial) support from the Centre du Cinéma et de l’Audiovisuel de la Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles, d'Eurimages, Fonds national de soutien à la production audiovisuelle du Grand-Duché de Luxembourg, Wallimage, VAF, Screen Flanders, Orange Studio, VOO et Be tv, RTBF, BNP Paribas Fortis Film Finance, Casa Kafka Pictures, Casa Kafka Pictures Movie Tax Shelter empowered by Belfius, and the Belga Films Fund.
