As the New World Theatre Club (NWTC) 2015-16 Youth Theatre Season opens for registration, the NWTC announced that Natalia Sanchez will be Youth Director for the new season.
Natalia Sanchez has been working in Luxembourg as a professional theatre teacher since 2009, creating, directing and producing both student-based and professionally-acted theatre performances.
"I feel very happy and inspired to become a part of the team of NWTC," Natalia said after receiving news of her new role. "I think it is a wonderful group of people which loves theatre. NWTC has passion and understands what theatre is about. It makes me feel at home!"
Registrations are now open for the 2015-2016 season, with places given on a first-come, first-served basis and preference given to existing members.
The NWTC youth programme will run on Saturdays, starting from 3 October 2015, through term time up until the Easter holidays. Participants are expected to attend all workshops and must notify both the director, Natalia, and youth committee liaison officer, Christine Probst, if they cannot attend.
Workshops will be held at the same location as the previous year, the Altrimenti Convict Centre. The course will cost €135.
The NWTC also offers several contacts with whom participants can chat to find out more information:
- Magnus Chan, (magnus@nwtc.lu) who is one of the longest-standing participants of the Youth Group. He is happy to talk with anyone who may be a little nervous about joining or have questions about how it is for participants.
- Christine Probst (Chrisp@nwtc.lu)
- Chris Mitchell and (Chrism@nwtc.lu)
