The traditional Luxembourg wine producer Bernard-Massard produces around 3.5 million bottles of still and sparkling annually and continually invests in qualitative tools that comply with the requirements for environmental improvement that it has imposed for its products and services; to this end it has taken delivery of a new Atego from Mercedes-Benz, supplied by Fraikin.

This recent OPEN BOX addition to its fleet of delivery vehicles (trucks and vans) was finalised following the choice and design from joint work of Bernard-Massard, Fraikin and Mercedes. It enables easy loading and unloading and uses advanced technologies. This Open Box concept is popular in other countries but is the first in the Grand Duchy.

In September 2014, Bernard-Massard unveiled the then newest member of its transport fleet – a Mercedes-Benz Antos, in collaboration with Fraikin.

The brand new state-of-the-art vehicle is eco-friendly has a new generation Euro VI motor and is the first of its kind delivered in Luxembourg. It also contains the latest technology with regards to fuel consumption and anti-pollution norms, which fit in with Bernard-Massard's policy of respecting the environmental requirements it has set for its products and its services. The new vehicle also addressed the company’s need for renewal and optimisation of its fleet. A careful selection and planning process was undertaken in cooperation with Fraikin to ensure the right choice was made.

Fraikin not only distributes to Bernard-Massard but is also responsible for maintenance and repairs, regulation check-ups and assuring the availability of replacement vehicles if necessary. This venture marked the first delivery of a low emission vehicle in Luxembourg according to the Euro VI norms.

The fleet contains three trucks and three vans, which are used to service clients at their door with personalised orders within a 48-hour period. Clients may order by phone, email or even via the e-shop.
